Most Park City hotels are geared toward tourists, particularly winter sports enthusiasts. Many offer ski packages in conjunction with local resorts. Shuttle services are also available at many lodges to get folks to and from the slopes. Some even allow guests to ski directly from their door to the mountain.
Park City hotels are designed to accommodate travelers from other walks of life, as well. Businesspeople will find a variety of hotels with amenities to suit their specific needs. Many hotels and lodges offer conference facilities.
Park City hotels completely fill up at certain times of the year. During January, when the Sundance film festival is in town, there will not be a vacant room in Summit County. It is estimated that there are at least 5,700 lodging units, or 21,500 pillows in and around the city, and during Sundance, every one will be spoken for.
